Bear Not In The Woods

Years ago, I called the county wildlife department.

I told them that the deer were eating my yard down to the dirt. What can I do about it?

They told me not to worry about the deer, bears had been spotted nearby. I live near the northern gate of Yosemite National Park. I never did see any bear in my yard. Even though they are yummy, I’m glad that they didn’t show up.

We’ve all been seeing on the news that with the drought dragging on in the west, there are more and more bear sightings closer and closer to populated areas, looking for food, etc. There are several videos about them in You Tube. I decided to share this one with you.
